Provides level sensing for dry bulk solids (dust). The level meter operates by using a 1 RPM synchronous motor to rotate a paddle. When paddle rotation is impeded by material surrounding it, the motor is de-energized and triggers a SPDT snap switch. The switch can be wired directly to a low-amperage indicator (light, bell, buzzer) or in conjunction with a magnetic starter to shut down the system.
